Start your new home on the right foundation with our New Construction Pre-Slab Phase Inspection, performed after the slab preparation is complete and before concrete is poured. This critical stage provides a brief opportunity to inspect components that will soon be permanently concealed beneath your home. Our experienced inspectors identify visible concerns and apparent discrepancies with available construction plans, giving you and your builder an opportunity to address issues before the pour, when corrections are typically easier and less expensive.
What’s Included
- Pre-Slab Inspection Report – Documents observed deficiencies in the visible and accessible slab preparation, including site conditions, formwork, slab dimensions, layout, squareness, and the locations of footings and thickened slab areas compared with available construction plans. We also review exposed reinforcement and supports, vapor-barrier tears or gaps, plumbing and conduit penetrations, and debris or apparent damage within the pour area. Buried or otherwise concealed components cannot be inspected.
