See what’s behind your walls before they’re covered with our New Construction Pre-Drywall Phase Inspection, performed after framing and the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC rough-ins are substantially complete, ideally before insulation is installed and always before drywall. Many important components become difficult or impossible to inspect once construction progresses. Our experienced inspectors assess the visible structure and system installations, giving you and your builder an opportunity to address concerns while these areas are still exposed and easily accessible.

What’s Included

  • Pre-Drywall Inspection Report – Documents observed deficiencies in the visible and accessible foundation, wall and roof framing, structural connections, roofing and flashing, window and exterior door installations, and plumbing, electrical, and HVAC rough-ins. We review items such as framing damage or improper cuts, missing connections, pipe and wiring routing and protection, duct installation and supports, and visible moisture intrusion. Insulation and fireblocking are reviewed where installed and accessible, along with apparent discrepancies in layout and component locations compared with available construction plans.
