As the Director of Operations, Jillian is responsible for managing the administrative team and  also performs most of the behind-the-scenes work involved in providing each and every one of our clients with great customer service and an unmatched inspection report. Anybody that’s met Jillian knows the professionalism, unmatched customer service, and problem solving capabilities that she brings to the table.

Jillian was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL and grew up around construction and business with her Father as a marine contractor and her Mother as a retail store manager. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Florida and is pursuing a Master’s Degree as well. She has a combined 12 years of experience in Office Management, working for an Electrical Contractor, a Plumbing Contractor, a Window Covering company, multiple Real Estate teams, and even vacation rentals.

When Jillian isn’t helping make the home inspection process enjoyable and painless for clients she enjoys expressing herself creatively by painting, sewing, and cooking. In her downtime, Jillian is usually reading, working 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her husband and two dogs outdoors.

Devin has always had two great passions; the outdoors and construction.  Growing up in coastal Florida with a General Contractor as a Dad provided plenty of opportunities for both.

After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Natural & Cultural Resource Management, Devin completed an internship with the Bureau of Land Management in California. Devin then moved to South Carolina to take on a Leadership Role with a college ministry for 5 years. He then returned to Florida and began work as a biologist for an aquatic management company.  Finally, as a home inspector Devin is able to combine his background and passions to provide unmatched service, promising each client the highest level of integrity, diligence, and expertise.  He is driven to exceed expectations and help individuals make the most informed decisions possible. With this background and mindset and consistently inspecting over 40 homes per month, Devin has solidified himself as one of the best and most thorough inspectors in Jacksonville and has since been promoted to field manager and is responsible for training of our newest inspectors.

Devin is a man of Faith, a Husband, and a Father. When he is not found on the water surfing or fishing, look for him playing volleyball on the beach, working on his house or spending time with family, friends and his pup Trident.

Josh is a Jacksonville native who grew up around the military having lived on Mayport Naval Base for 10 years during his youth. Josh began his professional career in corrections as a corrections officer at an Immigration prison, where he was also a firearms instructor. During this time, he also proudly served our country as an active duty member in the Marine Corps reserves. In these roles, a high attention to detail and effective communication were critical, which has helped Josh easily transition and become an incredible home inspector, now performing over 40 inspections per month. Josh leads our company in inspections for military personnel and veterans, where we gladly provide a discount of $25 off.

Josh recently welcomed his daughter into the world and now has another on the way. When Josh isn’t hanging out with his wife, daughter, and two dogs, you’ll find him either in the outdoors, working out, or hitting the streets on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Scott Andrews was born and raised here in Jacksonville and attended Bishop Kenny High School. Once out of school, Scott began his professional career as a 3rd generation commercial plumbing contractor. In 2013, Scott decided to jump into the investment banking world and took on a project manager role within the Vendor Management department of a multi-national bank. Scott served in this capacity for nearly 8 years. After meeting Kurt and sharing the same passion of helping others and making our community a better place, Scott decided to change careers and joined the HouseScan family in 2021.

Aside from work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, fishing, coaching baseball and competing in local BBQ competitions.

Tyler was born and raised in Alabama where after graduating from High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. In 2013 Tyler began a career in Law Enforcement at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama and in March of 2019 Tyler and his wife, Kati, moved to Jacksonville, Florida where Tyler continued his career in law enforcement with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. In this career, Tyler learned how to handle tough situations, how to deal with a wide variety of people & personalities, and developed an incredible attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills. In the summer of 2021, Tyler decided to change career paths and joined the HouseScan Inspections family.

When not performing inspections, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, going to the gym & training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and playing video games. On the weekends you can find Tyler and his wife frequenting the many craft breweries around Jacksonville, and watching Alabama Crimson Tide and Jaguars Football. Tyler is the proud father of 3 cats: Charlie, Lily, and Archie.

Originally from St. Louis, MO, Trent moved to Jacksonville from Chicago in 2020. During his time in the Windy City, he worked as a Business Operations Manager for 10 years, helping to establish Half Acre Beer Co. as a prominent regional craft brewery. The experience gleaned from operating in a start-up environment combined with a deep focus on servicing customer relationships, provided a nice foundation to transition to the Home Inspection space. Additionally, Trent’s years of working in the trades for a luxury residential remodel firm allowed for a thorough understanding of building sciences and the ability to identify quality craftsmanship.

When Trent is not inspecting, he’s making music in various projects, fixing up his home in Murray Hill, and spending time with his beautiful wife and two cats.

Juan “John” started his construction journey in New Jersey just outside of NYC at a very young age. He spent his summers off from school with his father, a foreman for a large construction company in the Tri-state area, learning and working. With a deep-rooted love for everything construction, Juan continued his career, becoming a Journeyman for Local 472 at age 20. In the last ten years, Juan was a lead and a foreman for some of the country’s largest construction companies on multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects in NJ, Philadelphia, and NYC. After a successful career in the Tri-state, Juan knew he wanted to continue in construction and decided to become a New Jersey, then Florida state-licensed home inspector. Having recently become empty nesters, Juan and his wife Christina decided it was time to open a new chapter in life. Juan and his wife have always dreamed of living near the ocean, which landed them in Palm Coast, Florida. Impressed with Housescan Inspection’s inspection of his own home, Juan decided to join the team and help grow their presence South into Flagler and Volusia counties.

In his free time, Juan enjoys working on his home and fishing. Juan also enjoys spending time with his wife and two pups and listening to his daughter Victoria’s experiences in Law school.

Bradley Goodson comes from a life of sports, having played Division 1 Collegiate Baseball at The College of Charleston. After graduating with a Marketing degree, Bradley spent the first part of his career in the Marine & Boating Sales industry in South Florida. Being a bit of a jack of all trades and enjoying helping others, Bradley eventually opened up a Handyman Services business performing small and medium sized jobs for clients in Northeast Florida. Bradley was then introduced to the HouseScan team, and decided to get licensed and eventually joined the team. After being with the team for nearly a year, Bradley left briefly to pursue an opportunity with a large nationwide luxury builder, but then rejoined the HouseScan team in early 2022 to help launch and operate the insurance inspection division.

Steve is a dedicated leader who brings over 17 years of management and business operations experience from Old Navy and H&M to the HouseScan team. His experience maps a track record of building meaningful customer relationships and team development. In addition, his attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines will translate well to the field of home inspections.

Originally from rural Arkansas, his fascination with houses started with watching his father, a fervent DIYer, completing various projects, including building his family’s home. Although Steve’s career was retail-based, his interest in DIY projects and building science remained strong. Steve ultimately decided to transition to HouseScan based on his desire to continue learning and growing in his career.

Steve lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Mariana, and eighteen-month-old son Erik. Outside of inspecting, Steve enjoys football, auto racing, the outdoors, and spending quality time with his family.

Jared Kazimar brings a wealth of knowledge, relevant past experiences, and real-estate related hobbies that suits him extremely well in the world of inspecting homes. Jared earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of North Florida. He then held jobs in construction, various roles throughout the insurance industry including carrier operations and most notably serving as the leader of underwriting for a reinsurance hedge fund, and lastly most recently as a licensed Florida Realtor. This background, along with his love for architecture, and paired with his successes in real estate investing both in short-term and long-term rentals, allows Jared to inform and protect his clients at an unmatched level. In 2021, Jared transitioned out of the field and has taken on a full-time Quality Role within HouseScan Inspections, proofreading all outgoing reports and managing any post-inspection issues that may arise.

A third generation Jacksonville native and fourth generation Floridian, Jared is a keen outdoorsman and spends time outside and on the water whenever possible. If not on the St. Johns River, Jared is likely spending time with family, his retriever Raleigh Jane, or weightlifting. Jared has completed several hundred miles of the Appalachian Trail and hikes regularly in the Smoky Mountains.

Gabby was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida and graduated from the Marine Science center. During her senior year of high school Gabby was promoted to Assistant Manager at a local restaurant. After several years in the restaurant industry, Gabby decided that she wanted to venture out and explore a different career path and transitioned into a stay-at-home Mom for her daughter Rayleigh while she used this time to determine what her next step in life would be. Gabby joined the HouseScan family in 2022 and is excited to leverage her years of customer service to help aid our real estate agent partners, clients, and inspectors.

When Gabby isn’t busy with work she loves to sing, draw, travel, and spend time with her daughter. Gabby loves to live a healthy lifestyle which includes an organic diet, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Sarah was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL.  After high school, Sarah worked in the medical field as a surgical tech assistant. In 2020, Sarah decided to take a new path and entered into the world of Real Estate working at Berkshire Hathaway as the Mandarin location’s Office Administrator. Sarah is continuing to expand her Real Estate knowledge and experience and joined HouseScan in 2022.

Outside of work Sarah enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and family. During her downtime, Sarah loves to read and snuggle up with her dog, Mylea, and cat, Elle.
